iWay Software and IBM: Making Integration Simple

iWay Software, building on a relationship with IBM that stretches back more than a decade, delivers software that enhances the value of IBM's Application Integration Middleware (AIM) products, including the WebSphere Application Server(TM) and WebSphere MQ(TM) (formerly MQSeries) product families.

As a member of the Passport Advantage(R) program, iWay Software has close technical and sales relationships with IBM. iWay's major advantages over other IBM-compatible adapter sets include:

  • Access to over 300 packaged applications, transaction systems, relational databases, and legacy data stores, from a single vendor
  • Intelligent adapters that allow users to assemble and configure integration for each information system, without custom programmer for each transaction or interface
  • Metadata management that adapts to changes in underlying data stores without compiling or programming
  • Uniform interfaces that work equally well for Java-based WebSphere Application Server integration, WebSphere MQ messaging applications, and WebSphere MQI message flows
  • Tight integration into the WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQI Graphical User Interfaces

iWay also incorporates several of IBM's AIM products directly into iWay's Enterprise Integration Suite, ensuring that they work together seamlessly. iWay's Application Server, a component of iWay Adapter Manager, is based on IBM WebSphere Application Server v4.0. The intelligent routing from IBM MQSeries Integration Builder(TM) is built into the Enterprise Integration Broker. iWay Messaging and Queuing, a component of the Enterprise Integration Broker and an option for the XML Transformation Server, is based on WebSphere MQ (formerly MQSeries).
